Job Purpose/Overview
The IT Systems Administrator will maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks under the guidance of our Teamlead / Manager IT Service.
Resourcefulness and the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly are necessary skills in this role. The Senior IT Systems Administrator should also have the patience to communicate with various interdisciplinary teams and users to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface with the help desk and IT support technicians to resolve and document hardware and software troubleshooting tickets, bug reports, and errors.
- Provide support to on-site/off-site staff and align regular with the Lab Managers in the different locations.
- Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory.
- Oversee VM-Ware and HyperV virtualization environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure services.
- Write and maintain PowerShell and custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
